The best way to recommend a game to be supported by GOIM is sending a email to me:
herbert.poul@gmail.com containing the following information:
You may need to search your registry to find the required information..
Game Port and Game Port are usually stated so users can configure their firewall/router
so it shouldn't be too hard to find it out.

| How about Media Player Classic? It can be configured to use DX7 or DX9 rendering. It might be nice to be able to chat while watching a full screen movie, or at least know if someone is trying to send you an important message. I know, it isn't really a game. http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ |

| the ingame messenger is activeted independently from either you've configured the game/app within GOIM or not .. it tries to hook into every DX 8 application which launches during GOIM is started (and the InGameMessenger is installed/activated)therefore there is no reason to add such applications (yet).. |

| On this site http://trillian.jiqnet.com/?pgload=downloads is a trillian plugin for xfire. In the archive is a xfire_games.ini which has the most information you need for a lot of games/apps. Only the url is missing, but I think is not a real problem. Not all entries have a port specified - maybe its not useful at all?
Another point is the icon. Isn't it possible to extract it through the path of the exe? Oh no it's a problem if u have not install the game on your system - right? Maybe first without a icon…
And maybe the entry of the InGameRenderer is useful for the correct usage of the InGameMessenger.
But nevertheless I hope it is usefully. |
