1 Requesting a Game to be added to GOIM The best way to recommend a game to be supported by GOIM is sending a email to me: herbert.poul@gmail.com containing the following information: - Full Name of the Game - URL to the official game homepage - Name of the executable on windows, optionally also on other platforms. (the real game exe, not some launcher app) - start parameters needed to join a game server - Windows Registry Information to get path to executable -- Windows Registry Key -- Windows Registry Name -- String which would need to be added to the value of the provided registry key/name to get the exact match for executable - Ports -- Default Game Port -- Default Query Port - Either a game icon 16x16 or the .exe file from which the icon can be extracted (gmail will block .exe files so rename them to .abc) You may need to search your registry to find the required information.. Game Port and Game Port are usually stated so users can configure their firewall/router so it shouldn't be too hard to find it out.
